The New
Wave Adjustable Fixing System has been developed to help alleviate the knee and
back problems suffered by rowers, due to misalignment of the feet in the boat.
The system
is based on 2 discs, which have the standard four screw holes for rowing shoes.
The discs fit on the foot stretcher plate, with ‘teeth’ on the discs to allow
them to ‘knit’ together.
The top disc is screwed to the shoe, using the
standard four holes. After deciding the angle required for the foot, the screws
are ‘locked’ with the Allun key. If the foot angle needs to be changed, you can
simply loosen the screws and adjust the angle, without having to remove the
shoes. Overall, the shoe can be adjusted by up to 15 degrees to the left and to
the right
